Joseph Robert Maletta

I have missed my friend these past weeks since his passing. I will miss him even more as the months and years roll past. I miss most of all our hilarious gut busting discussions about hockey, relationships with the women we loved and admired in our life (both past and present). And the more serious debates about politics, the military and the history of the world of which he was an avid student. Joe was a big supporter of the veterans current and past. He remained an active supporter of the Doolittle’s Raiders organization. Although Joe never served, he contributed his energy, money and commitment to this nations military and for his part, I raise my hand in a Salute of Honor to you Coach.
Thank you for being a loyal and trusted friend. If I was ever in a foxhole engaged in battle, I would want you there with me! I know I could trust you with my life. BTW Brother, My drives to and from Vegas are longer without those great phone calls. You touched my heart and my life. Thank you letting me get to know you. All my Love Joe.
