Josefina E. Moreno Josefina E. Enriquez was born in Hurley, New Mexico in 1918. She moved with her family (three brothers and five sisters) to the South Bay when she was twelve. She and her family became parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church in 1930. In 1941 she married Frank B. Moreno, a native of Los Angeles. Together they enjoyed taking an active role within their Church as well as with a variety of charities in and around the South Bay community. They raised five children (Armando, Daniel, Lydia, Estevan and Robert) in Hermosa Beach. Her family was her passion and her favorite time was when the family was together. She passed away in her home on August 8, 2007 in Hermosa Beach, CA. Her beloved husband of 46 years, her four brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter preceded her in death. Her five children and their spouses, nine grandchildren and two sisters, Anna and Laurencia, and many dear friends survive her. She is dearly loved and will surely be missed. 1. To the family of Josie Moreno, Please accept my deepest sympathies. Josie was a beautiful, sweet, thoughtful woman. She will be missed by the many people who’s lives she touched. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. With much Love. Nina “Teri” Moreno Ishida

  2. My condolences to the Moreno family for the loss of Mrs. Moreno. I never really knew her but I did grow up with Armando and Danny Moreno. She must have been a wonderful Mother since she raised her kids with so much character.
