Josefa Diaz-Molina Josefa was born in Habana, Cuba in 1929 and she passed away to our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday June 19, 2016. She traveled from Habana to the US in 1962 seeking freedom and safety for her son and family. After arriving, she worked hard to re-establish her education as a teacher and completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees with much perseverance. This was followed by her completion of a Juris Doctorate degree in 1984 when both she and her son completed law school at Pacific Coast University together, Josefa at the young age of 55. She loved to listen to music when doing house work and she loved to dance. She especially loved spending time with her family, most of all her son, daughter-in- law, her grand kids, their wives and her great grand kids. She was a very caring, loving, charitable and faithful individual, though intense at times. She loved to pray the rosary and gift rosaries to everyone. She was an excellent mentor to all and loved to help everyone, most of all children. She was the last of five siblings and is survived by her only son, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Thanks to everyone who shared their kindness with her and made her life a happy one filled with love. A one day simple service will be held at Rice Mortuary, in Torrance, California on Wednesday June 29 from 5 PM to 9 PM. A rosary will be conducted from 7:30-8:00 PM. Please note; flowers will not be needed for this event. If you wish to make some type of gift, please do so as a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation. God bless you all.
