Jorge
GONZALEZ, JORGE JOSEPH, a lifetime resident of Southern California (Redondo Beach), passed away June 16, 2005 in Torrance. He was born May 4, 1917 and was a native Californian. He served his country in the United States Navy and his community in the sheet metal industry for over 30 years. Survivors include his loving Wife, Alicia Gonzalez of Redondo Beach, children; Daughter, Maria (Chris) Foley of Redondo Beach, Sons, George (Dawn) Gonzalez of Redondo Beach, CA, Rene Gonzalez of Harbor City and William Gonzalez of Redondo Beach and Daughter, Cristina (Dave) Heinrichs of Torrance. Also left to mourn his passing are his six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM, with Rosary recitation at 7:00 PM at WHITE & DAY COLONIAL CHAPE, 901 W. Torrance Blvd., (at Prospect Ave.), Redondo Beach, CA 90277. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 415 Vincent St., (at PCH), Redondo Beach, CA, 90277. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
