\\Freese, Jonathan Stephen, "Jonny," a life-long resident of Torrance, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011. Born in Torrance, CA, Jonny was 20 when he died. He graduated from South High School in Torrance in 2008. Jonny was an avid fisherman and spearfishing diver. He loved the LA Dodgers.
Jonny is survived by his parents, Kathleen and Lloyd Freese; and brother, Patrick Peery, all of Torrance, CA.
A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Wednesday January 26, 2011 from 6 to 9pm with a Vigil beginning at 7pm. The Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church in Redondo Beach on Thursday at 10am followed by a reception in the church hall. Check back to view the online video tribute.

Dear Jonny, This message is from Robyn’s Mom since Robyn is with you already. I hope you two have found each other and other loved ones and family members for lots of love and hugs that we here can no longer give you in person. I am sorry I missed your memorial service because your Mom’s reading of Pat’s letter at Robyn’s service was very moving and touching. I also enjoying watching your memorial video, it was beautiful. As I wrote to your Mom, I hope your oak tree and Robyn’s will grow up strong and maybe they can be planted near each other somewhere special. I will try to keep in touch with your family as long as I can – probably mostly through Richard. Auf Wiedersehen for now- till we meet again in the great “bye and bye”. Love, Diana
