John
Adams, John T John passed peacefully Sunday at home with his devoted and loving wife at his side, holding his hand. He watched a USC Trojans game the day before and commented on the players. John cheered for the Dodgers through thick and thin. He was a loving Father, Husband and Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He retired from his career as a military contract negotiator with Rockwell International in the 1970's. He was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and lived in Hermosa Beach since the 1950's. John and Maxine were devoted Catholics and were very active in American Martyr's Church, and the community. He is survived by his wife, Maxine, his daughter, Dianne and her family and niece, Barbara and Husband Llewellyn Swift and their two daughters. When he turned 90, and was asked for wisdom, his response was "Love, and be loved." Memorial service will be Wednesday, October 17th, 10:30 A.M. at American Martyr's Church, with cemetery and reception to follow.

  1. Maxine, I am in Massachusetts and just pulled up the Deaths in my area and was shocked to see John’s obituary. Please accept my deepest sympathies at this trying time. You and the family are in my prayers.
