Bardet, John Joseph (Jack) passed away December 6, 2008 in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 12, 1931 and graduated from Loyola High School and UCLA before joining the US Navy. Jack achieved rank of Lieutenant and served on the U.S.S. Oriskany, piloting AD Skyraiders. After retiring from the Navy, he subsequently practiced law in Los Angeles for over 45 years, specializing in tax, estate planning and leveraged leasing. He is survived by wife of 27 years, Joanne, daughter, Mimi, son, Tim and four stepchildren, Bruce, Becky, Beverly, and Brenda. He is preceded in death by his first wife Suzy. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, at Crenshaw and Crest Road, 5448 Crest Rd., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 (310) 377-5571.   1. Jack Bardet Family: Sorry I can’t be there, but a 300 mile round trip from Indio for a 77 year old Dude is impossible. Jack & I were pledge brothers in SAE & I have nothing but fond memories of my brother who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I will always remember the wonderful nights I spent with Jack and his Mom (memory serves me that her name was Marie, but that was almost 60 years ago)for dinner at their home. Peace be with you.
