John ''Bud'' Neeland of Carson passed away November 30, 2002. He was born in Selina, Kansas November 29, 1926 and was 76. He served in the Army during WWII and was a life member of the Redondo Beach VFW #2828. Bud worked in the plastics industry for over 40 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Eileen Neeland; five children: Steven Neeland of Arizona, Leslie (Dodie) Collins of Oregon, Sue Mack of Redondo Beach, Kathy (Jose) Luna of Nevada and Donald (Adele) Collins of North Carolina; along with 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd. in Torrance. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 5 at 1:00 PM in the Mortuary Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow with procession to Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
