John ''Bill''
John William (Bill) Kemperman Beloved husband and father, Bill a South Bay resident for 60 yrs. was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1932. He passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 5, 2005. He served in the U.S. Navy and the Los Angeles Fire Dept. where as a scuba diver on Boat 5, Los Angeles Harbor, he received a Medal of Valor for heroism during the Sanseneina ship explosion in 1978. Above all, Bill was a devoted husband and father. He leaves Ida, his wife of 47 years and sons Robert and Don, along with extended in law family members and many friends who loved and treasured his kind and steadfast good nature, humor and loyalty. He was pre-deceased by eldest son, John William Jr. A celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 at 10AM at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, Redondo Beach, followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
