One night I had a dream.
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with God
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two pairs of footprints in
the sand one belonging to me and the other to God
When the last scene of my life flashed before us,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at times along the path of life
there was only one set of footprints.
I noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times of my life. This really bothered
me and I questioned God about it. "God, you said
that once I decided to follow you, you would walk
With me all the way but I noticed that during the
Most troublesome times in my life there is only one
Set of footprints. I don't understand why in times
when I needed you most, you would leave me."
God replied. "My precious, precious child. I love
you and I would never, never leave you during your
times of trials and suffering. When you see only one
set of footprints it was then that I carried you."
I am very sadden by your loss. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time.
Floyd, What a beautiful tribute to Joey. How lucky and blessed you are that Joey was and is still a part of your life. I know how much you love her, and she will always be with you. I hope you will lean on those of us who care about you for comfort.
Remembering all the good time we all shared, at the beach, mtns or your place, we were family together and while not around enough, you were always thought of kindly in my mind, heart & thoughts. May you rest in everlasting peace and harmony. Love Steve

Floyd: I have been deeply touched by Joeys passing and all of the events leading up to it. You’re a lucky guy to have found this love and had it for the time you did. Bless you for being a strong person and inspiring a lot of us. And I must say one thing – Joey made a great decision to marry you. So now you need get through the mourning and get on with your life. I am confident you will do well and figure this out. I think you are an optimist by nature and look for the good qualities in people. In that regard I think you will be able to find people to help fill the loneliness you’re no doubt going to have for awhile. And your sense of humor and love for laughter will help. God Bless you Floyd Randy
