Joan Maynard

Joan Maynard, a 54 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in Rancho Palos Verdes. Born in Boston, MA, Joan was 81 when she died. Joan was a devoted and caring member of the community and served St. John Fisher Church as a parishioner and their business manager for over thirty plus years. She was a beloved and respected member of the St. John Fisher business office until her retirement at 70. She is survived by her son, Denis Maynard of Los Gatos, CA and six grandchildren and will be missed by the many lives she touched with her kindness and strength. Services will be held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Rancho Palos Verdes on Thursday October 20, 2011 at 7pm followed by a reception in Barrett Hall at St. John Fisher. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the St. John Fisher Music Guild on her behalf.
