Jessie Soliz

SOLIZ, JESSIE - passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2004.She was born September 16, 1909 in Mexico. Jessie has been a resident of the South Bay (Redondo Beach) for 88 years and was the last surviving member of the original founders group of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Church in Hermosa Beach. Survivors include her Son, Louis Soliz and his wife Mary of Sun City, CA, Son, John Soliz and his wife Annie of Redondo Beach, CA, Daughter, Cora Duarte of Tustin, CA, and Son David Soliz and his wife Consuelo of Carson, CA, Also left to mourn her passing are her eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren and eighteen great, great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 19, 2004 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at WHITE & DAY COLONIAL MORTUARY, 901 W. Torrance Blvd., (at Prospect Ave.)Redondo Beach, CA 90277. Vigil service will be at 7:00 pm at the same location, the same evening. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 5th and Massey Streets, off Prospect Ave., Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
