Jerry Wayne Barnhardt Jerry lost his courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer on March 14, 2016. Born on January 16, 1948, he was raised on many different Military bases around the United States. He went to high school in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Utah State University, and received his MBA from Pepperdine. One of his proudest accomplishments was being a Captain in the United States Marine Corps where he served as an Aviator. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Judy, his beautiful daughter, Stephanie Bahr, his son-in-law Jim and his grandsons, Jake and Ryan. Jerry will be remembered by those who knew him best for his keen sense of humor and his ability to talk to most anyone, about most anything. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network ( would be appreciated.

  1. My condolences. I met Jerry when I joined the USMC Platoon Leader\’s Class during my 1st year at Utah State. He graduated a year ahead of me and we never met up on active duty although we were both in Air Wing units. Semper Fi, Jerry.
