On Tuesday March 30, 2010 our dearly beloved JB Blagg departed from this life to begin a new life with the Lord. JB was born in Gravelly, Arkansas to Edgar and Mattie Blagg, both of whom preceded him in death. JB was the youngest of three children. JB moved to Lamont, California with his parents and siblings at the age of eight. When JB was 16 they moved to the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. At age 16 JB began working for a paving company. By the age of 25, JB had begun his own paving company, Hawthorne Paving, where he worked for the next 46 years. In 1959 JB married Twyla Mitchell, who preceded him in death. Through this matrimony four children were born. In 1999 JB married Daysi Marin, who was by his side until he left to be with the Lord. JB was baptized at the Hawthorne Church of Christ where he was a member for over 50 years. He was a faithful and dedicated servant until God called him home. JB loved to fish, travel and enjoy time in the outdoors. JB enjoyed spending time at the river, the lake and camping. He loved spending time with family and friends. JB was an honest, loving, caring man with a friendly smile and a personality that was impossible not to fall in love with. JB leaves to cherish in his memory, his beautiful wife Daysi Blagg; His children Marilyn Techtow, David Blagg, Teresa Myers, Cynthia Bearden, Delmy Marin, David Marin and Daysi Lopez; His grandchildren Daniel Myers, Rebecca Myers, EmaLee Blagg, Heide Blagg, Mattie Blagg, Lucas Bearden, Cara Bearden, Cassie Bearden and Austin Bearden.
