Leritz, Janette Marie, a 54 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006 in Torrance. Born in Peoria, Illinois, Janette was 87 when she died. Janette was a member of St. James Catholic Church and Catholic Golden Age. She worked 40 years as a Medical Secretary, and was an Auxilliary member of "Clipped Wings" (former United Airline Flight Attendants). She enjoyed crocheting layettes for Little Company of Mary Hospital's Neonatal Unit, baking, reading, watching television, and visiting with friends. She is survived by her Sister, Margaret Pitchford of Peoria, IL, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband Frank, Daughter Sharon, Father Charlesl, and Mother Eleanor. The Visitation will be at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Thursday December 21, 2006 from 5-8pm. Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach on Friday December 22, 2006 at 10am, followed by a Reception (maps will be provided). Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City on Saturday December 22, 2006 at 10am.   1. My heart and prayers go out to Jan’s family. I know that she is at peace now with Frank and Sharon. She missed them both so much. What a special lady. Even in so much pain she volunteered and blessed so many peoples lives.
