  1. Dear Marie and Family. My condolences on the passing of a very kind and loving man. I first mt Jim when I became Director of Religious Education (DRE) at St. Lawrence Martyr parish in 1971. He was chairman of the governing board and was kind enough to welcome me and help me become acquainted with all the other members. Jim was a person who went the “extra mile” to make a new Director feel comfortable in her new position. I have always recalled his kindness with great appreciation. My son Ronald was Quentin\’s classmate and my daughter,Patrice was David\’s. They join me in sending prayers to all the Murphy family. It has been a pleasure to know all of you for over 30 years and we join you in celebrating Jim and the goodness he brought into this world. May his spirit dwell within each and every Murphy now and in the future.God grant you peace and love. Joan Geltz and Family
