Moceri, James (Jack), a long time resident of Wilmington, CA passed away on December 6, 2005. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Jack was 66 when he died. He was a member of the King Harbor Church in Redondo Beach. Jack was a proud graduate of the University of Colorado and a retired Electrical Engineer with Hughes Aerospace. Jack is survived by his brother Paul Moceri and his wife Yolanda of Rochester, Mi, sister Agnes and her husband Elmer Skillman of Aurora, Co, sister Nicki Ornsten of Clinton Township, Mi, six nieces and nephews in Michigan and Colorado, and dear friends in California A small family service was held December 11th at the McCormick Mortuary in Redondo Beach. In addition, a memorial service is planned in Michigan in the summer of 2006.

  1. I worked briefly with Jack on the F-14 Program at Hughes. I enjoyed talking to him about his corvette and dance lessons. He had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately I had not spoken to him since he retired.

  2. Jack was a kind giving person with a great sense of humor and well respected by his doctors who had previously pulled him through bouts of phenomena. He was a member of the lung transplant support group at USC University hospital where he provided hope and encouragement to others.
