  1. Brent was my dearest friend for almost 40 years. I always admired his kindness, his good heart, and his ability to make even the most difficult thing seem not so bad. Memories of him playing football and baseball in high school have been coming back as I think about him when he was at his youthful best. The many times he made me laugh or showed me how to treat others with respect had a lasting impression. Brent was unlike anyone I have ever known. He was a good, decent, caring person with the utmost integrity. I was lucky to visit him in California a few years ago and he later visited me in Washington, DC. I could talk with him as easy as anyone in the world. He had that capacity to make a person feel comfortable and welcome. I miss him dearly. There was no one like him before and there will be no one like him again. Hope to see you in a better place one day Brent, my dear friend.

  2. Brent was my brother in law and as long as I’ve known him he was always cheerful, funny and a respectful man. Brent is a kind of person that would go out of his way to help someone as he’s done for me at one time to move from California to Arizona. Brent will be missed but now he is no longer suffering and is at peace. Brent rest in peace my brother
