  1. Jacob and I dated for about two years around 1989-1990. He was a wonder, wise and caring person to everyone and smart beyond belief. We have all lost a treasure.

  2. I write to express our condolences on the passing of Jacob Mainzer and the loss of his family. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Jacob, I know how dear he was to his son David, my good friend. May you find joy in remembering his life to ease the pain of living with his loss.

  3. Jake was a colleague, partner, and friend in our Albuquerque anesthesia group. We worked together from 1973 until his retirement in 1994. He was kind, conscientious, and an excellent physician. He is missed!

  4. Jacob was like a father to me. What a beautiful soul! He was pure love and kindness…the most generous man I’ve ever known. There has been a big hole in my life since Jacob became ill. I’m sorry he suffered so much in the end. I’m happy he is now back in spirit, where I’m sure he is experiencing the Divine Love of the Creator.
