Rodriguez, Isidoro a 41 year resident of Montery Park, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 in Torrance. Born in Cuba, Isidoro was 86 when he died. He and his wife of 53 years moved to Torrance last year to be closer to their daughter. Having immigrated to the United States with his family in 1964, Isidoro was a photographer for a number of years, later working for an accounting firm picking up and delivering clients' books and as an unofficial public relations person. He retired in 1988. Described by all as a truly gentle man who enjoyed people and the simple things in life, he always wore a smile and had a joke to tell. He loved playing dominoes with friends, working in his garden, cooking and golfing. His 5 grandchildren were his passion. He is survived by Wife, Eloisa Rodriguez of Torrance, CA, Son, Jorge (Rhonda) Rodriguez of Bakersfield, CA - grandchildren: Nicholas and Kristen and Daughter, Mayra (Robert) Wiessner of Rolling Hills Estates, CA.- grandchildren:Greg, Jim and Debbie. Preceded in death by Mother, Felipa Rodriguez and Father, Ramon Rodriguez and two brothers, Solano and Berto. A gathering of family & friends will be held at McCormick Redondo Beach Chapel on Monday, March 26, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The funeral Mass will be held at St. John Fisher Church on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 9:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in South San Gabriel.
