Stott, Irene H., a 54 year resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007 in Torrance. Born in Lawrence, MA, Irene was 92 when she died. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Irene was the first woman buyer at Pacific Semi Conductor. She loved traveling and dancing with her beloved husband, Chester along with doing crossword puzzles. Irene loved her family's history and reunions along with being a big fan of Lucille Ball and old fashion comedy. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Chester in 1997. She is survived by a nephew, William Burris and wife, Joan of Mission Viejo, CA; niece, Marilyn McGrath of Hawthorne, CA; cousins, Father Joseph Gordon of Wilmington, CA, Robert and Alice Gordon of Laguna Hills, CA; as well as Joanne and Gary Binks of Lawrence, MA., as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Close friends, Janet and Bob Truax of Beach Park, IL; Jerry and Jack Kelly of Manhattan Beach, CA. A gathering of family & friends will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14th, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at White and Day's Colonial Chapel, 901 Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach with Vigil Services beginning at 7:00 PM in the Mortuary Chapel. For information about Thursday's mass, please call the mortuary. Burial will follow with procession to Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
