Thakar, Indira Yogendra, a 30 year resident of the South Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2008. Born in Karnataka, India, Indira was 60 when she died. She is survived by her Husband, Yogendra Thakar of Torrance, CA; Sons Chetan and Manoj Thakar; Grandson, Krish Thakar; Granddaughter, Priya Thakar; and Daughter in law, Warsha Thakar. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Gajendranath and Ramadevi Pandya. A gathering of family & friends and service will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Wednesday June 11, 2008 from 9 to 10:30am.

  1. We deeply love our sister Indira. She was very kind and generous and indeed noble. She loved us all very much. She has not left us, she will always be with us in our fond and affectionate memories. We express our deepest condolence for our brother Yogendra Thakar, husband of Indira Thakar, and for the whole family for this irredeemable loss. We pray for peace for the departed soul and for the family.
