Ich known as Ike to many, fled the Vietnam War from the rooftop of the American Embassy with his family and immigrated to the United States in 1975. He had to redefine himself in his mid 30's in a strange country. He worked tirelessly to see all his 4 children graduate from the University of Southern California. He enjoyed life by gardening, cooking and visiting with friends. He loved to travel and saw most of western Europe and was able to see his beloved mother country. He worked as a shipping clerk and then at Northrop for a number of years. His last profession was a security guard. He did what it took to educate and support his children through to their career goals. He was an optimistic, happy and very social person. He loved to have fun and play tricks on people. Though he was disabled his final years he continued to be loving and impish. We were lucky to have had him. He is survived by Havan Ngo of Redondo Beach, Phong Ngo of Bend Oregon, Tina Guszak of Torrance and Christina Ngo of Torrance. His life
will be remembered as a celebration.
