Homer
Uecker, Homer Homer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, born on January 5, 1930 in Oakdale, Nebraska went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2005. Caring and devoted to his faith and to his family, Homer was also a constant support of prayer and a pillar of strength for his family. He served his country in the Korean War, and served the aerospace industry for over 35 years. A viewing will be at McCormick Chapel, 1998 S. PCH, Redondo Beach on Friday, Feb. 11th from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 12:00PM at Journey of Faith Church, 1243 Artesia Blvd., in Manhattan Beach. A graveside military service will honor him directly following the church ceremony, at 2:00PM, at Green Hills Cemetery, 27501 S. Western Ave., in Rancho Palos Verdes. We have been blessed by his unconditional love and adoration. We will miss him very much until we will be reunited in heaven.

  3. Dear Marsha and Mel: I am writing this note for my mother. Each day she has found the measure of strength through God to make it through that day. Thank you so much for your concern, thoughts, and prayers for her. The spray of flowers you sent for the services were beautiful, the ceremony was exquisite because of the thoughtful of friends like you. We all have been blessed by the outpouring of concern and helpfulness. Love, Josie and the rest of the Uecker family.
