Miho, Hisako Ruth (92)
Longtime resident of Hermosa Beach, CA, died peacefully April 3, 2006.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Jane (Barry Fahr), sister Lily Fukunaga, sisters-in-Law Tomi Maeno and Toki Morioka and many other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:30am Saturday, April 8, 2006 at White & Day Colonial Mortuary, 901 Torrance Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 (Phone 310-792-7575).

I’m so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. She was so elegant and well-spoken. I was happy to have finally met her through my cousins JoAnn and Ric Harris, as well as Ellen Stewart and Alice Chaurest, who often spoke fondly of her. We shared a wonderful lunch at the Bottle Inn, and then, more recently, at Mimi’s Cafe. My deepest sympathies to the family, and especially to Janie. Kerry Cababa
Please accept my sincerest condolences on Ruth’s passing. She and Shu were good friends of my parents, Joe and Dorothy Kobata, and I kept in touch with Ruth periodically over the last several years. A special note to Lily- thank you both for remembering the South Bay JACL with your donations.
