Clark, Helen M. a 41 year resident of Torrance passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2001 in Torrance. Born in Hancock, Michigan, January 18, 1915, Helen was 86. She was a teacher and had been with the Torrance Unified School District for over 20 years. Helen had also been a volunteer at Torrance Memorial Medical Center since 1985. Left to mourn her passing is her daughter Nancy and Damian Rivera of Carson; sister Marie Smyth of Roseville, MI; and Cota the dog. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 4:00 PM at White and Day's Colonial Mortuary, 901 Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach.
I\’m so very sorry to hear Mrs. Clark has passed away. I work at Henderson Library and she was one of our patrons. She took books for her own pleasure reading and also, books that she tutored. I will miss seeing her. Sherry
