Kline, Harry John of Manhattan Beach passed away May 24, 2007, during a visit to Acadia National Park in Maine. A graduate of Mount Carmel High School, Harry served in the Air Force, and graduated from UCLA in 1959. He worked in the aircraft industry in computer programming and electronics. His interests included political activity, travel, and continuing education in mathematics. His hobbies included golf and bridge. Harry leaves his brother John, two sisters, Carol Ryan and Eileen Ivers, fourteen nephews and nieces, and forty-two great-nephews and nieces, as well as cousins Lucia Jean Barton in Arizona and Clifford Jaeger in New Jersey. He also leaves behind a community of friends who will miss him dearly. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by the Rosary, at White and Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach. Holy Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts benefit the seminary of: Order of the Holy Cross, 13800 Gratiot Avenue, Detroit MI 48205.
