  1. There are so many things that I could share, but I\’m going to keep it simple. Grandpa was the best! Whenever my sister and I would spend the night at their house, Grandpa would always sneek behind Grandma\’s back and give us popcorn (with lots of butter) AND ice cream. He\’d always say that the “kids” wanted it. Grandma used to get so mad at him, but he never worried. All of the children knew that Grandpa had a roll of Life Savers in his pocket. This started when I was a small child. After I got married, I\’d go to Grandma and Grandpa\’s church for a holiday visit. There would be children that would come up to him after church. Grandpa would reach into his pocket and grab out the Life Savers and make everyone smile! Thank you Grandpa for creating such a wonderful family and for giving me so many awesome childhood memories.
