Greg S. Hoffman Born January 13, 1956 in Everett, Washington, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2006 while sailboat racing. Greg graduated from Snohomish High School in 1974. Attended Whitman College for 3 years transferred to Cal Tech where he received a BA in Math and Physics, and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Worked at Aerospace Corporation the past 25 years. Greg loved sailing. He leaves behind his wife Carol, daughter Colleen and son Brett. His mother Nancy, brothers Geoff, Kenneth, Roger and Richard, sisters Suzanne and Ann, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is loved and will be missed greatly. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Riviera United Methodist Church, 375 Palos Verdes Boulevard, Redondo Beach. Placement at sea will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made payable to: the benefit of Colleen and Brett Hoffman at any Wells Fargo Bank location.   1. I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve known Greg’s family since I was a little girl. My Mom, Nancy Kvangnes, worked for Greg’s Dad for many years. At our last Snohomish High School reunion I had the pleasure to talk to Greg for the first time that either of us could remember. He talked to me about his family and his passion for sailing. I too love the water, in my passion for rowing. We shared some great stories and laughter. He truly loved his family and had a great passion for sailing. Take care. Jane
