BOYD, JR. , GLEN HARVEY of Lawndale, CA, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2002 in Hawthorne, CA. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 30, 1932. Glen is a Korean War Air Force veteran and served the greater community of Los Angeles as a senior construction inspector for thirty-eight years. In addition to his work for the city, he had other business interests, including a washing machine and dryer route and he was active in real estate investments. Left to mourn his passing are: his devoted wife, Mary (maiden name, Kuntz) Boyd, Father, Glen Boyd, Sr., Son, Darryl Boyd and his wife, Amy of Redondo Beach, CA, Daughter, Paula Boyd of Lawndale, CA, Sister, Ellen McAfee of St. George, UT, Half-Brother, William Boyd, Half-Brother, Glenn Raul Boyd, III, Half Sister, Teresa Meyer and Half Sister, Christina Miller. Glen is the blessed grandfather of five. Visitation will be Thursday Jan. 10, 2002 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at RICE MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA, 90503. Rice Mortuary will conduct funeral services for Glen on Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Chapel on the grounds of Inglewood Park Cemetery, 720 E. Florence Ave., Inglewood, CA. 01/11/2002...interment will follow in the cemetery.
