This loving Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin and Friend will be deeply missed... Gilberto Teran went home to The Lord at the age of 54, on January 4, 2010, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Born June 3, 1955 to Rosie and Bruno Teran in Los Angeles, CA. Although he held various jobs, his true love and career was music. He was a great lead guitarist and joined his first band at the age of 14. Gilbert is survived by his father Bruno, Sr., his brothers Pete and Bruno Teran, Jr., sister Priscilla Schwab, along with 12 nephews and nieces. Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Gilberto Teran's life on Saturday-January 16, 2010 at 5:00pm at Rice Mortuary 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503.

  3. Uncle its going on 3 months and the pain is still fresh. I’m constantly thinking of things that I can’t wait to share with u, just like I use to. Missing all the good times we shared…Late nights, video games, jokes… all of it. I miss u like crazy!!!!!!

When I 1st met you back in the erly 1970’s and I heard you playing the guitar with my friend Joe Parra, I knew I was in the presence of a Virtuoso. the Carnegie Jr. high years were some of the best for me. That is when we met and I was fortunate to hear you play.

  6. i was looking up Gil because i knew him in 77 me and my two girlfriends went over to his family home , invitation of Bruno i think, i remember both boys being so nice, we drank and listened to music. i am 60 now and i still remember Gil, tall long black hair and a mustache, the GilTeran Band i remember that. well i musta thought alot about him. Sweet man. i am very saddened to learn of his passing. my most sincerest condolences to his family. ❤️
