  1. You have done a wonderful job at a stressful time. He was a very handsome young man. You\’re right, he died much too young. Talk to you soon.

  2. I\’m so sorry to hear the tragic news. No words can ease your pain, but know that the family and Gene are in my prayers. I have a lot of good memories from the early years – growing up with the Watkins\’ family. Although I don\’t have any more recent memories or contact with Gene, he will be dearly missed. Natalie

  3. I share in my cousin Sheryl\’s thoughts. Gene was a wonderful man, and I will miss him greatly. The Watkins cousins got together after the passing of our uncle Bobby and decided that we would not loose track of eachother again. Gene was a great part of that and in Gene\’s name, I encourage all members of the Watkins family to contact me so we would not break away again. Gene would like us to do that. Uncle Cliff, Aunt Jennie, Patti, I would like to pass along my deepest sympathies to you for your loss. I am deeply saddened by Gene\’s passing and wish to offer you my spiritual support to help speed in your healing. Take care, Jim & Miwa Watkins Erica, Jessica, Tyler & Ryan.

  4. Dear Jennie and Jim, and family, Again I want to express my deepest sympathy to you in the loss of Gene. Please accept my sincere condolences, and I am praying for you, that God gives you strength and love, at this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and on Saturday, as well. My love, Linda Huthmaker

  5. Dear Watkins Family, My thouhts and prayer go out to you. Gene was a great friend and will be missed by many. My brother Mike also sends his condolence,s.

  6. My thoughts and prayers are with Gene\’s family as they deal with this very difficult time. Gene was a good friend of my brother, Charles (Chuck) Williams. Gene was always the quiet one growing up and as I can see from this recent picture still cute as can be. May god bless you and take care of you in your time of grief. With great sympathy, Elaine Williams-Bevington

  7. It is so hard to find the words to express my sympathy. I was so deeply saddened to hear of the untimely death of my special cousin. I have very fond memories of our times spent together as children. Although I had not seen Gene too many times as adults, the few times we did spend together are memories I will always treasure. I will truly miss Gene and will keep his loving memory in my heart. All of my family members are in my thoughts and heart and every prayer.
