Gary Jon Arneson

Gary Jon Arneson May 18, 1947 – September 19, 2014 Gary passed away at home with his family at his bedside after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer. He led a good life, graduated from West High School, went off to fight in Viet Nam and came home to marry his high school sweetheart. He worked for Dow Chemical for 33 ½ years and evenings taught at El Camino College and So. Cal Roc. He was a member of the VVA, VFW, he was a docent for the Wilmington Drum Barrack and did volunteer work for the city. He coached girls AYSO and Tordondo Little League. He loved to travel the world, have BBQ's with his kids and grandkids and spend time with friends. He leaves behind his wife Ruth; sister Geraldine Barr (Rod); daughters Kelly Arneson, April Berryhill (Ken) and Sarah Wright (Matthew); and seven grandchildren Jonathan, Nicholas, Kenneth, Kaitlyn, Margaret, Gary and Cadance.
