SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, formerly DYER, INDIANA
Frederick "Fritz" Joseph Cashman age 58
Died August 11, 2007 at home in California, after a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Mary Kay, and four brothers, Randall (Jeri) of Highland, IN, Doug (Laura) of Taos, NM, Greg of Schererville, IN. and Justin (Cindy) of Momence, IL. Also Brothers-in-Law; Paul (Joann) Hoffman of St. John, IN., Joseph (Elsie) Hoffman of Crown Point, IN, Sisters-in-Law; Eileen (Ron) Szymborski of Crown Point, IN, Shirley (Dennis) Boswinkle of Nashville, TN, Janette Baker of Las Vegas, NV., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death, by his parents Paul and Madge, his brother Giles, and parents-in-law Herbert and Coletta Hoffman. He was a graduate of Lake Central, High School, in St. John, IN. and a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Greene's Ready Mix/Westside Concrete Co., in 2006. After retiring he worked as an EXTRA in numerous TV shows and movies. He was an avid golfer and snow skier.
Memorial service is Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, 10:00 AM at Rice Mortuary 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA. An additional memorial will be held at Teibel's Restaurant in Schererville, IN on Friday August 17, 2007 at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, Mass donations or monetary donations to your own favorite charity.
