  1. My Father in Law will be dearly missed He was the nicest Man. He loved his coffee, loved to eat He Loved to go camping with my husband. His son We will miss you Fred Sr Rest in Peace

  2. When I first met my husband’s side of the family, there was one person who made me feel so welcomed and that was Uncle Fred. A handsome and giving man who made you feel comfortable in his home as well as in his presence. He talked of many things and could carry a great interesting conversation. His heart was as big as he was in my eyes. My heart cried when we were told he passed. How could a strong wonderful man like this leave so soon. His presence I will miss greatly, but memories of him will last within me forever. I love you Uncle Fred. Your loving niece, Flo (Nelson’s wife).

  3. I can remember when I was a kid in Honolulu and Uncle Fred was in the U.S Coast Guard residing in Kalihi. At that time Jocelyn wasn€™t born yet. Uncle Fred took me on his ship, docked at Honolulu Harbor, to see where he worked as an engine mechanic. It was very interesting, being that I never had boarded a ship of that size. Aunty Moonie use to bake him a lot of desserts which he really loved. Yes, you can say he was a coffee and dessert person, but he really loved Aunty Moonie€™s good ole€™ home cooking. We all loved her cooking. As we grew older, we visited him in Gardena after he had retired. He always was doing something as fixing cars, cleaning his equipment, etc., but had more time to talk story with us. I can say he enjoyed his retirement and was doing what he wanted to do. He was a very personable and generous person. My only regret is not spending more time with him being an ocean apart. Uncle Fred I will miss you and will never forget you. God Bless. Your nephew Nelson

  5. Dear Dad We will miss You and we Love you Very much ! God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, €œCome to Me.€ With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away, and although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
