Frank A. Capone, 86, passed away early Monday morning, November 17, 2008 at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Born August 1, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, Frank was the son of the late Sam and Wilma Capone. On July 20, 1943, he married Wilma J. Haberman. The couple resided in Westchester, California and raised their family. He was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church. He enjoyed trips to Hawaii, casino trips with the seniors from church, working at the church and taking care of his family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Greg and Dean Capone, and daughters Marsha Singleton and Pamela Byrne granddaughters Gina, Jana, Jessica, Brittney, and Cassidy, and grandson Brian, as well as his great grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, and Carson. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008, at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 5550 Thornburn St. Los Angeles, California. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at both Lomita Care Center and Frank's friends and fellow parishioners at St Jerome's Church for all the loving care and support shown to Frank and his family.
