I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

  1. My deepest sympathy to the family of Frances Rodriguez. She was a wonderful person who did so much for the parents of children with disabilities and the teachers and staff that worked with these children. She was the smiling face that greeted us and the comforting voice when needed. She touched so many lives during her career with special education. We knew of her family and she told us the stories of Arizona, of making tamales and of her good life. I was so fortunate to have known her. My sympathy to all in respect of a life well lived.
