EULA ESTHER RISSLER PARMER, Eula Esther Rissler Parmer, daughter of Charles J. and Rettie Rissler was born in Confidence, Iowa, September 15, 1918, and departed this life in Gardena, California, June 10, 2013, at ninety-four years of age. She lived a long and healthy life. She died in peace surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was a gifted homemaker with a special ability to create a loving, festive environment for her family friends and neighbors where she resided for 60 years. She loved going to sporting events and performances of her children and grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family as well as those who looked to her as "mother". Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jackson Parmer, whom she married August 20, 1939. She is survived by her 5 children and their spouses. Her children are Jan Cameron Smith, Robert (Juno) Jackson Parmer, Jr., Jon Charles Parmer, Julie Christine Bruns, and Jeffrey Carlton Parmer. She has 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held on July 13, at 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Memorials and Receptions, Gardena, CA with Pastor Burt Smith, her son-in-law presiding.

Trust in God, He is there and will provide whatever you may need to get through this very tough time of pain and sorrow.
