    Dear Family,

The Clarence Weldon Thomas siblings (Betty, Lurlene, Wilbur Gene, Betsy Lee, and Debra Ann) send our condolences on the passing of our dear Cousin, Ethel Mae Jones. We are sorry that we cannot be with you at the celebration of her life due to the passing and funeral service of our Brother, Phil Thomas.

Ethel (Sister G) was a true anchor for the J.C. Jones and Weldon Thomas families. We lost both of our mothers at an early age in life and Ethel was always present to provide guidance motherly love to us as we grew up in Summit, Oklahoma. She never wavered in her support to us. She was a pillar of strength and endearing friend to all residents in Summit She will be sorely missed but now rests in that place that Jesus has prepared for all of us who believes in him.

Jesus said in St. John 14:1-4, Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you. And I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.

Let all of us (Jones and Thomas’), rededicate our lives in service to the Lord so that we may join Ethel in God’s heavenly home.

Ethel fought a good fight in life’s journey and finished her course and kept the faith, We are beneficiaries of her faith and now reassured that she has received her crown of righteousness from the Lord.

May God bless and keep each of you during this difficult period.

    Respectfully submitted:

    The Thomas Siblings
