Esther Katheryn Mason Brown (Ochs), a long time resident of Glendora, CA passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Pomona Valley Hospital, Pomona, CA following a short illness; she entered into her Heavenly home. A Lutheran church and a family cemetery were also established there by the family. Many, many cousins and their family members still live there and enjoy the fellowship of summer family reunions every five years as hundreds of relatives from all over the United States, Canada, and Germany have gathered in Turtle Lake over the past 20 years or more. The Presser brothers from Oberstaufen Germany, Karl and Adi Presser, always attended the reunions regularly and brought a special joy to the cousins who attended. 1. I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. We were friends for many years and I have a lot of wonderful memories of fun times we had together. She will be missed.

  2. We are one with the family in this time of grief. “A loved one is a treasure of the heart and to lose a loved one is like losing a piece of yourself. But the love that this person brought you… did not leave, for the essence of the soul lingers. It cannot escape your heart, for it has been there forever…”–D.Burton

  3. We are saddened by the death of your mother. We enjoyed her visits back to North Dakota for the Presser Family Reunion. We have wonderful memories of this very sweet lady. Our loving sympathy is extended to all of her family. You are in our prayers –

  4. “May you find peace and comfort in knowing that your grief is shared by so many. Your mom will be sorely missed. God bless you and your wonderful family. “
