  1. I was called to serve a mission in Maine and Eastern Canada and I left the area having formed an endearing friendship with Esther and Ivan. I had an immense amount of love and respect for both and cherished a sweet friendship with Esther as she settled in California. Her loss is great but I know that she has attained the true blessings in heaven. Esther was a good woman of God, and I admired her for her testimony and strength in the gospel. She will forever be my dear friend and my sweet sister in the gospel. Memories of Maine will always bring fond memories of Esther and Ivan. Until we meet again.

  2. We loved your Mom. She called us her “Maine family”. She was just like a grandmother to all our kids and a great friend to us. We have lots of happy memories with both your mom and dad. Please know she was loved by us and will be missed. Congratulations on the new baby girl. Enjoy every minute with her. Love Debbie, Todd and family
