Reverend Ernest F. De Pretis went home to be with his Lord on November 20, 2009. He was born on May 29th 1927 in West Hazelton, PA. He was employed by the County of Los Angeles Auditor Controller, District Attorney, and retirement board. He was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 1965 and served his Lord in a variety of ministries including rescue missions, Christian school teacher, evangelist, church planter, and pastor. He founded an inter service at Little Company of Mary hospital. He was also a Colonel in the National Chaplains Association. He preached his last sermon at 80 years of age. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy, and he is survived by his four children Robin (and Walter), Matt (and Cindy), Mark (and Nansea), and April along with nine grandchildren Chris, Marc, Jennifer, Nate, Sarah, Tess, Dawson, Wesley, and Coleman. Services will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 28 at 11:30 am.

  1. God bless all of you. I remember your dad so graciously going to visit my mom when she was a patient at little co. about 18 years ago, she still remembers that sweet gentlman. my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
