KNEFEL, EMANUEL A. of Redondo Beach , passed away over the 4th of July holiday, 2003. He was born in St. Louis, MO on March 30, 2003 and was a WW II U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. Knefel was a tool designer in the electronics industry, having worked for many years for Magnavox. He was a member of the BPOE, Elks Lodge of Redondo Beach. Survivors include his sister, Lucy Quirk and brother, John Knefel, both of Missouri and niece, Jeanne Simones of Lompoc, CA. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hermosa Beach, Interment will be Friday, July 11, 2003 at 2:00 at the Riverside National Veterans Cemetery.
