Elva Nell Thorns

THORNS, ELVA NELL, Passed away on Friday, February 22, 2002 in Torrance, CA. She was born on Dec. 3, 1916 in Pueblo, CO. She is survived by her Daughter, Diane Bruns of Long Beach, CA, Son, Edward Thorns of Solvang, CA and Sister, Earline Joyce Gilworth of Riverside, CA. Mrs. Thorns is the blessed grandmother of seven and great grandmother of six. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at WHITE & DAY COLONIAL CHAPEL, 901 Torrance Blvd. (at Prospect Ave.), Redondo Beach, CA, 90277. Funeral services under the auspices of The Eastern Star, Alpha Star Chapter #171 will be on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002 at 11:00 AM, also at the same White & Day location. Interment will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery, Redondo Beach, CA.
