Johnson, Ellen Mary a 49 year resident of Torrance passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2001 in Torrance. Born in Oakland, CA, April 28, 1913, Ellen was 88. She was an accountant in the automobile industry for over 35 years. Ellen is survived by her daughter Pamela O'Brien of Torrance; sons Dale (Mary) Johnson and Dick Johnson of Orange and David (Traire) Johnson of Oroville, CA; along with nineteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Barney Johnson of 50 years and her daughter Gail Henderson. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 23 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Redondo Second Ward, 715 Knob Hill Avenue.
