  1. Our thoughts are with you all. My strongest memories of Betty are of what a gracious hostess she was. When she hosted a bridal shower for me, she was all class. Everything was perfect: her home was immaculate, wonderful foods, and she was so warm and inviting to all the guests. She was a beautiful person; it was a pleasure and honor to have known her. Many people will feel a similar emptiness inside with her absence, but it helps to know that she has been called home to a warm embrace of our Maker. God bless.

  2. We wood like to offer our condolences to the death of Mrs.Elizabeth Beigel. Our thoughts are with you. Martina & Wolfgang Scheffler

  3. Growing up with Bill and Dick, I spent so much time at their house that Betty was like a second mom to me – except that she didn’t yell at me (well, okay one time…). As I got older and our relationships became adult, no xmas holiday was complete without a visit to the “elder” Beigels. We will miss her kind and gentle nature, her giving spirit. My wife Sharon and I give our heartfelt sympathies to Harv, the boys, and the entire extended family.

  4. Dear Bill and Dawn and family, We were so sorry to hear about your mother. We didn’t know her, but our hearts go out to you. Sincerely, Andre and Renee

  5. Dear Bill, Dawn, Jimmy and Linda, We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom, Bill. We are thinking of you all and send you our Love and Prayers. With Love, Gene and Gloria

  6. Dawn, Bill, Jim, and Linda, I’m so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing, I’m thinking of you and sending my love. Will see you at the memorial. Love, Mom(Grandma,Trudy)

  7. We are sorry for the loss of your mother. May you find peace in the love and memories you have of her. God bless you all. The Reinertsens – Don, Else, Erik, and Nicole

  8. Bill and Dick – Do you remember that first Grunion Run that your Mom organized for the Cabrillo Museum when we were about 20? She asked us to help her out by directing the runners. So we jogged up to the turn-around point at Fort MacArthur and stationed ourselves where we thought we were supposed to be. Well, somehow our signals got crossed and we sent the lead pack the wrong way. Mrs. Beigel didn’t ask us to help again, which worked out well since we had more fun running the next couple of years. It was my favorite – the only run in the evening, it was after school was done for the summer, and the great logo on the shirts. Thanks Mrs. Beigel for giving us our PRs and memories we will never forget! Bill, Dick, and Mr. Beigel, our prayers and thoughts are with you – thanks for sharing Mrs. Beigel with all of us.

  9. Dear Bill, Dawn, Jimmy & Linda, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Betty. We have fond memories of her and Harvey attending the many little league and soccer games of both Jimmy and Linda. We will miss her kind and gentle manner. Please give Harvey and Dick our very best, and know that our hearts and thoughts are with you all. Love, Jack and Karen

  10. Dear Harvey and the rest of your family. I was very saddened to hear of your sudden loss. I shared the news with the member of the Band and everybody expressed their sadness. Know that the BCSB and the broader musical community offer our love, support and prayers to all of you during this difficult time.

  11. Dearest Bill and Dick, Dawn, Jimmy and Linda ~ I was so saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Betty, mother, grandmother and wife. My heart goes out to you and I wish you the joy of reflecting on your many happy memories as a family. I have always been grateful for the love and friendship you have shown me over the years, no doubt the legacy of your parents. My thoughts are especially with Bill now and I am so glad that you have your brother and dad so near by, as well as Dawn by your side. Losing a parent is a journey. I will be in touch again very shortly and am thankful to be able to share in the celebration of Betty’s life and remembrance here.
