Eleodoro "Lalo" Sausedo who was a resident of the South Bay for over 60 years passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008. Born in Los Angeles, California on July 3, 1927 he was 81 when he passed at home with his family at his bedside. He served in the Navy in the late 1940's, volunteered for a number of years as president of the Hermosa Beach Little League, and worked for Greyhound Lines for over 30 years.
He is survived by his daughter Vicky DeCuir and her husband, Gil, of Torrance, California; son Lalo Sausedo of Torrance, California, and daughter Anita Drennen and her husband, Jim, of Hermosa Beach, California. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Matthew DeCuir and Andrew and Lindsay Drennen.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
