Eleanor J. Hager

Hager, Eleanor Jane an 88 year resident of Manhattan Beach passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 in Manhattan Beach. Born in Pomona, CA, October 21, 1916, Eleanor was 88. She had worked for Chevron Research for over 39 years. She enjoyed her family, traveling, knitting and her cat. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Past Worthy Matron. She is survived by her nieces Patricia Jones of Fresno, Carol Strutt of Alta Loma and Arlene Baker of Yorba Linda, 5 great-nephews and 4 great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Harriett Sanford of Carlsbad. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd. in Torrance.
