January 1, 1930 ~ February 2, 2007
She was born on January 1, 1930 in Oneonta, New York, to George and Margaret Otto. While growing up in New York, Eleanor and her father had a passion for horses and owned several; her favorites were Sandy and Silver. With the cold winters - ice skating, in-door board games, puzzles, playing cards, bowling and dancing were some of the fun things she liked to do and carried these on to her children later in life. In 1951, she met and married Jack Beach (deceased). Together they raised three sons: Bill (deceased), and survived by Steve; Rick, his wife Jeanne and Grandchildren Jennifer, Arlette, Brad and Brittany.
She passed away on February 2, 2007 and will be remembered as a very giving and loving mother, grandmother and friend to all she knew. She was a very spirited and straightforward person who loved challenges in all aspects of life. She was proud of her 18 years of service with Hughes Aircraft Company and remembered many of her friends and an abundance of stories she had made during that time.
