April 1, 1934 ~ March 5, 2006
Murray, Eleanor Griego, known as "Leo" to close family and friends, a 63-year resident of Los Angeles County, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2006 in Torrance, CA. Born in Torrance, New Mexico, Eleanor was 71 when she died. Eleanor was a Christian and believed that God is within each one of us everyday of your life and in heaven.
Eleanor’s life began with adversities, with the passing of her baby brother at a very early age. Eleanor then came to Los Angeles with her mother, when she was around 8 years old and spent her entire life in the area. She met her husband Mario Louis Ramos in Junior High and married after High School and had two sons, Mario and Ralph and one daughter (died at birth).
During her lifetime Eleanor found God and invited him into her heart. She was a great woman who was celebrated for spreading the word of God.
Her family and friends were an important part of her life. Eleanor was a person who would give you her attention in your time of need. She was a selfless person who gave everything of her, to help you find your way. She would welcome you into her home and into her heart, no matter your troubles, your pain or your faith. She looked beyond that and into your heart.
"The greatest love a person can have for his friends is to give his life for them."
- John 15:13
